dc.description | Industries face significant challenges in controlling supply chain traceability, due to dependence
on conventional systems that generate excess documentation and make information
communication and analysis difficult. This can result in operational issues and consumer safety.
The complexity of tracking a finished product, from its ingredients to associated records, becomes
a daunting task, underscoring the need for a more efficient system. Therefore, it is important to
highlight the need to improve traceability control systems by incorporating technologies such as
SAP ERP systems, Big Data, and Bar Codes, which will allow more efficient and accurate
management of information, reducing inconsistencies and eliminating excessive documentation.
The importance of traceability as a fundamental pillar of food safety and its obligation in quality
standards allows the tracking of products from their origin to the final consumer, this includes the
ability to store and communicate information about the quality and origin of the product. The
implementation of these technologies can improve visibility and efficiency in the supply chain,
facilitating informed decision making and guaranteeing food safety in the face of current
challenges. | es_ES |

actuales. | es_ES |
