dc.descriptionThe present research focuses on analyzing the influence of digital media on the public perception of the political image of the La Unión parish council. Additionally, the main objective is to determine the impact of digital media on the perception of the political image of the council members, using a descriptive and experimental research design along with a mixed-method approach. The study population consists of 14,093 individuals registered by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (2022) to analyze and understand the political and social perception in the rural parish of La Unión. A sample of 374 people was selected for the survey. The results showed that 79.4% of the population uses Facebook and Instagram, according to the current project, indicating a daily consumption of information through digital media. These platforms serve as crucial channels for informing and shaping public opinion in La Unión, with Facebook being the primary application. Consequently, this highlights social media platforms as key factors in shaping public perceptions of the political activities of the parish council in the country. It is concluded that information pages featuring political news about the parish council, including images and videos, facilitate communication as a feedback mechanism between the public and politicians. This interaction aims to promote active citizen participation among the residents of La Unión.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación se centra en el análisis de la influencia de los medios de comunicación digitales en la percepción pública de la imagen política de la junta parroquial la unión. Además, el objetivo principal es determinar la influencia de los medios de comunicación digitales en la percepción de la imagen de los políticos de la junta parroquial de la unión, donde la metodología de investigación se realizará con el diseño descriptivo y experimental junto al método mixto, por lo cual se toma como población a 14.093 individuos registrados en el (Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos, 2022), para poder analizar y conocer la percepción política y social que existe en la parroquia rural la unión; se obtuvo una muestra de 374 personas que serán la cantidad a encuestar. Los resultados fueron que el 79,4% de la población utiliza Facebook e Instagram, según el proyecto actual, lo que indica un consumo diario de información a través de medios digitales que sirven como canales cruciales para informar y formar opinión pública en la unión es mediante la aplicación de Facebook. Por ende, esto enfatiza a las plataformas de redes sociales como percepciones públicas de las actividades políticas de la junta constitucional en el país. Se concluye que, a través de páginas de información con noticias políticas sobre la junta parroquial donde incluyen imágenes y videos, la comunicación se convierte en una retroalimentación entre el público y los políticos, con el fin de fomentar la participación activa de los ciudadanos unionenses.es_ES
