dc.descriptionThe final thesis report aims to determine the impact of motivational strategies on the stimulation and development of socio-emotional skills in students of the middle basic education of the Ciudad de Babahoyo School for the 2024 – 2025 school year. To this end, explanatory research was undertaken with a quasi-experimental design and a mixed approach. For this, a study sample made up of 72 students and 5 teachers from the aforementioned educational institution was used, which was applied a script of structured questions, a questionnaire with objective questions and an observation sheet as data collection instruments. Likewise, to validate these data, a Spearman's Rho was applied, which yielded a degree of correlation of variables of 0.74 with a p value < .001, which represented a very high significance The results reflected that 75% of the students surveyed have a high acceptance and indicated that they feel motivated and enthusiastic about the motivational strategies implemented by the teacher. Likewise, 80.33% have a significant academic performance and 62.67% have an active participation during class sessions. The conclusions revealed that there is a very significant impact of motivational strategies on the strengthening of socio-emotional skills, academic performance and active participation of students. Which enable the creation of a dynamic and interactive learning environmentes_ES

dc.description.abstractEl informe final de tesis tiene como objetivo determinar el impacto de las estrategias motivacionales en la estimulación y desarrollo de habilidades socioemocionales en los estudiantes de la educación básica media de la Escuela Ciudad de Babahoyo del periodo lectivo 2024 – 2025. Para ello, se abordó una investigación de tipo explicativa con un diseño cuasi experimental con un enfoque mixto. Para lo cual, se recurrió a una muestra de estudio conformada por 72 estudiantes y 5 docentes de la institución educativa mencionada, misma que se le aplicó un guión de preguntas estructuradas, cuestionario con preguntas objetivas y una ficha de observación como instrumentos de recolección de datos. Así mismo para validar estos datos, se aplicó un Rho de Spearman que arrojó un grado de correlación de variables de 0,74 con un p valor < .001, lo cual representó una significancia muy alta. Los resultados reflejaron que el 75% de los estudiantes encuestados tiene una alta aceptación e indicó que se sienten motivados y entusiasmados con las estrategias motivacionales implementadas por el docente. Así mismo, 80,33% tienen un rendimiento académico significativo y un 62,67% tiene una participación activa durante las sesiones de clases. Las conclusiones revelaron que existe un impacto muy significativo de las estrategias motivacionales en el fortalecimiento de las habilidades socioemocionales, rendimiento académico y participación activa de los estudiantes.
