dc.description | This research deals with digital media and its impact on the formation of public opinion, in which the scope and significance of how digital media influence citizens by interfering in their opinions is analyzed and highlighted. Thanks to its reach, capacity and speed of dissemination, however, it is crucial that digital media users use these tools responsibly. The objective of the research is to determine the impact of digital media on the formation of public opinion. The methodology of the study is used in a mixed approach which would be qualitative and quantitative. Additionally, descriptive and quantitative research methods were applied. interpretive research. Likewise, survey techniques were considered, which are aimed at 394 people, inhabitants of the city of Babahoyo, as well as an observation sheet. dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación trata sobre los medios de comunicación digitales y su incidencia en la formación de la opinión pública, en el cual se analiza y resalta el alcance y significación de cómo los medios de comunicación digitales influyen entre los ciudadanos y ciudadanas al interferir en sus opiniones gracias a su alcance, capacidad y rapidez de difusión sin embargo es determinante que los usuarios de los medios digitales utilicen responsablemente estas herramientas. El objetivo de la investigación radica en determinar la incidencia de los medios de comunicación digitales en la formación de la opinión pública, la metodología del estudio está empleada en un enfoque mixto el cual sería cualitativo y cuantitativo, adicionalmente se aplicaron los métodos de investigación descriptiva e investigación interpretativa. Igualmente se consideraron las técnicas encuestas la cual están dirigidas a 394 personas, habitantes de la ciudad de Babahoyo, así mismo como una ficha de observación. La investigación finalizó que la gestión adecuada de las plataformas digitales y el uso responsable de los medios de comunicación digitales son cruciales para su impacto positivo en la formación de la opinión pública. | es_ES |
