dc.description	This research study was carried out Basic Education of the “OAS” School of the La Rodríguez campus, of the Babahoyo canton, province of Los Ríos., With the objective of knowing the methodological strategies used by the teacher in the development of literacy skills through the qualitative approach The research process was initiated by observing in the third year classroom of basic education where it was possible to identify that the teacher used very few innovative and creative strategies that would help students to have less difficulty in literacy, if not the class in a very traditional way. Instruments were used to collect the information through observation. The interview was conducted with the teacher, the parents and a diagnostic test that was carried out on all the students, where the students who had more difficulty in reading and writing could be recognized. There are many factors that influence students to have difficulties in literacy and also that a better teaching-learning process cannot be developed, since the teacher only has more experience in high grades, training is not provided by the In the center, it can be evidenced that the same strategies are used, thus not integrating new methods that give a greater result in the students' learning, besides that it has almost no support from the parents. Students come with problems since they were in first grade in literacy and also because they were not followed up in this second grade. dc.description.abstract	Este estudio investigativo se realizó Educación Básica de la Escuela “OEA” del recinto La Rodríguez, del cantón Babahoyo, provincia de Los Ríos., teniendo como objetivo conocer las estrategias metodológicas que utiliza la docente en el desarrollo de habilidades de la lectoescritura a través del enfoque cualitativo. Se inició el proceso de investigación realizando la observación en el aula de tercer año de educación básica donde se pudo identificar que la docente utilizaba muy pocas estrategias innovadoras y creativas que ayudaran a los estudiantes para que tuvieran menor dificultad en la lectoescritura, si no que impartía la clase de una forma muy tradicional. Se utilizó instrumentos para poder recabar la información a través de la observación. La entrevista que se realizó a la docente, a los padres de familia y una prueba diagnóstica que se les realizó a todos los estudiantes, donde se pudo reconocer a los estudiantes que tenían mayor dificultad en la lectura y la escritura. Hay muchos factores que influyen para que los estudiantes, tengan dificultades en la lectoescritura y también en que no se pueda desarrollar un mejor proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje, ya que la docente solamente tiene más experiencia en básica superior, no se le brinda capacitaciones por parte del centro, se puede evidenciar que se usan las mismas estrategias no integrando así nuevos métodos que den un mayor resultado en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes, además que esta no tiene apoyo casi de los padres de familia. Los estudiantes vienen con problemas desde que estaban en primer grado en la lectoescritura y también porque no se les dio un mayor seguimiento en este segundo grado. Esta investigación está estructurada en cuatro grandes partes, en la primera se plantea el problema de investigación con sus propósitos, en la segunda se presenta la perspectiva teórica-conceptual del tema, en la tercera se detalla el diseño metodológico y la última parte está destinada a los resultados del estudio y las principales conclusiones y recomendaciones	es_ES
