dc.description	The aim of this research work is to improve the teaching - learning process through a manual of reading comprehension techniques to strengthen this process, both in the educational system, and especially in the students of the 6th year of General Basic Education of the Unit Educational José Maria Estrada Coello. That positively affects the development of critical and analytical thinking of them; to achieve this goal, a field investigation was carried out, in order to determine the level of impact that comprehensive reading has on the educational process. The development of this work starts from the antecedent of the problematic raised. Followed by the theoretical framework to establish viable and concrete criteria that surrounds the research theme based on authors. We used surveys directed towards students, teachers including parents, presenting in a summarized way the information obtained through the use of statistical methods and graphics. Continued with the detailed presentation of the proposal and the scope you will obtain. Starting from a theme and the components that integrate it. The research work ends with the conclusions and recommendations proposed based on the information presented	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo mejorar el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje por medio de un manual de técnicas de compresión lectora para fortalecer dicho proceso, tanto del sistema educativo, como especialmente en los estudiantes del 6º año de Educación General Básica de la Unidad Educativa José María Estrada Coello. Que de manera positiva incida en el desarrollo del pensamiento analítico y crítico de los mismos; para lograr este objetivo se realizó una investigación de campo, con el fin de determinar el nivel de incidencia que tiene la lectura comprensiva en el proceso educativo. El desarrollo de este trabajo parte del antecedente de la problemática planteada. Seguido del marco teórico para establecer criterios viables y concretos que envuelve el tema de investigación fundamentados por autores. Se empleó encuestas dirigidas hacia los estudiantes, docentes inclusive padres, presentando de manera resumida la información obtenida mediante el uso de métodos estadísticos y gráficos. Continuado con la presentación detallada de la propuesta y el alcance que obtendrá. Partiendo de un tema y los componentes que lo integra. El trabajo de investigación finaliza con las conclusiones y recomendaciones propuestas basándose con la información presentada	es_ES
