| dc.description | This research examines the evolution of community radio stations in Zone 5 of Ecuador since the enactment of the Communication Law. A bibliographic analysis was conducted on community communication, its impact on traditional media, community media, and the current legal framework, providing a theoretical foundation for this research. Field data was collected through surveys administered to representatives of community radio stations in Zone 5. The findings reveal an evolution in Ecuadorian legislation, recognizing the existence of community media within the national legal framework. | dc.description.abstract | Este trabajo de investigación se basó en la evolución que han tenido las Radios Comunitarias de la Zona 5 desde la promulgación de la Ley de Comunicación. Se realizó un análisis bibliográfico sobre temas de la comunicación comunitaria, su impacto en los medios tradicionales, los medios de comunicación comunitarios y el marco legal vigente, lo que permitió describir con aspectos teóricos esta investigación. Se recolectó información de campo a través de la aplicación de encuestas a los representantes de las Radios Comunitarias de la Zona 5. Los resultados demuestran una evolución en la normativa vigente de Ecuador, reconociendo la existencia de los medios comunitarios en el marco jurídico nacional, sin embargo, hay limitaciones administrativas que dificultan el quehacer de las radios comunitarias, dejando así de contribuir de forma efectiva al desarrollo de las comunidades. | es_ES |
