dc.description | The use of audiovisuals as a strategy for more effective and meaningful learning plays a fundamental role in education today. Therefore, this study analyzed the use of the Loom platform among students of the Pedagogy in Experimental Sciences Informatics program, morning section, at the Technical University of Babahoyo during the academic period April-August 2024. A mixed methodology with a descriptive approach was employed, applying survey and interview techniques. The survey was administered to a sample of 101 students, and interviews were conducted with a group of 4 teachers who are experts in using this tool. The study's results determined that Loom is an effective tool for understanding complex topics, as it provided a more interactive, flexible, and enriching educational experience. However, it is essential to consider the integration of educational strategies, the promotion of autonomous/collaborative learning, and monitoring the impact of audiovisuals to maximize the benefits of using this tool and improve the quality of education. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El uso de los audiovisuales como estrategia para un aprendizaje más efectivo y significativo, protagoniza hoy en día un rol fundamental en la educación, por ende, en este estudio se analizó el uso de la plataforma Loom en los estudiantes de la carrera Pedagogía en Ciencias Experimentales Informática, sección matutina de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, periodo académico abril-agosto 2024. Para ello, se utilizó una metodología mixta, con un enfoque descriptivo, aplicando las técnicas de encuesta y entrevista, en donde la encuesta fue aplicada a una muestra de 101 estudiantes y las entrevistas a un grupo de 4 docentes expertos en el uso de esta herramienta. Los resultados del estudio determinaron que Loom es una herramienta efectiva para la comprensión de temas complejos, ya que ha proporcionado una experiencia educativa más interactiva, flexible y enriquecedora, sin embargo es necesario tener en cuenta la integración de estrategias educativas, la fomentación del aprendizaje autónomo/colaborativo y el seguimiento en el impacto de los audiovisuales, para así maximizar los beneficios en el uso de esta herramienta y mejorar la calidad de la educación | es_ES |
