dc.description | The present research addresses the use of WordPress in relation to the integration of digital tools, around education, evidencing the complexity of students' responses when using this tool. The general objective is to determine how WordPress contributes to the teaching-learning process in the students of the Information Systems career at the Technical University of Babahoyo, justifying the importance of improving active and interactive participation in the classroom through WordPress to being able to adapt to new forms of teaching.
The methodology used is descriptive with a mixed approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods to collect reliable information that supports educational theory and practice. Observation, survey and interview are techniques used in this project to analyze, identify and describe the phenomenon investigated, as a result it was determined that WordPress is a tool that effectively meets the requirements for the creation of educational blogs, helping students to develop technical skills, facilitating the scope of knowledge related to the creation and management of websites, contributing significantly to the dissemination of educational content on the web, as well as the process of obtaining and installing WordPress is accessible and easy to do. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación aborda el uso de WordPress en relación con la integración de herramientas digitales, en torno a la educación, evidenciando la complejidad de respuestas de los estudiantes al utilizar esta herramienta. Se plantea como objetivo general determinar de qué manera WordPress contribuye en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en los estudiantes de la carrera de Sistemas de Información de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, justificando la importancia de mejorar la participación activa e interactiva en el aula mediante WordPress para poder adaptarse a las nuevas formas de enseñanza.
La metodología empleada es descriptiva con un enfoque mixto, combinando métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos para recopilar información fiable que apoye la teoría y la práctica educativa. La observación, la encuesta y la entrevista son técnicas utilizadas en el presente proyecto para analizar, identificar y describir el fenómeno investigado, como resultado se determinó que WordPress es una herramienta que cumple con los requerimientos de forma eficaz para la creación de blogs educativos, ayudando a los alumnos a desarrollar habilidades técnicas, facilitando el alcance de conocimientos relacionados con la creación y gestión de sitios web, contribuyendo de forma significativa a la difusión de contenidos educativos en la web, así también como el proceso de obtención e instalación de WordPress es accesible y fácil de realizar. | es_ES |
