This study aimed to determine the impact of curricular adaptations on the teaching and learning process of 5th year students at the Ciudad de Montalvo School during the 2024-2025 academic period. Three specific objectives were proposed: analyze the impact of curricular adaptations on the intrinsic motivation and autonomy of students with learning difficulties, define curricular adaptations and their relationship with academic performance, and evaluate their effectiveness in improving equitable access to curriculum and active participation. The research, descriptive and field, used a mixed approach that combined quantitative and qualitative methods. Structured surveys were administered to 20 students to measure academic performance and perceptions of accommodations, and semi-structured interviews were conducted with the teacher to further explore her experiences. The results indicated that the curricular adaptations had a positive impact, improving the academic performance, participation and motivation of the students. It was recommended to continue with the implementation and evaluation of these adaptations, personalize the strategies for each student, encourage active participation through collaboration between teachers and families, and continue promoting intrinsic motivation and student autonomy.es_ES
