dc.description | This research is based on the importance of analyzing how the promotion of Montubio Ancestral Traditions influences the cultural identity of the students of the educational institutions Unidad Educativa Réplica "Eugenio Espejo" and Escuela de Educación Básica "Juan León Mera" of the Babahoyo and Montalvo cantons belonging to the province of Los Ríos, It is also intended to leave a theoretical contribution that will provide future generations an orientation for further research related to the subject and to leave a significant contribution to the teachers of educational institutions on the relevance of knowing, promoting, practicing, preserving and disseminating the ancestral traditions of the Montubio people of Ecuador.
The study was done under a descriptive research in order to understand the variables of study and establish a comparison between the two educational institutions, the approach used was mixed since interviews (teachers) and surveys (students) were applied. Based on the results obtained, it was identified that the educational institutions face challenges related to the practice and preservation of the ancestral traditions of the Montubio fluminense due to various factors, although the most relevant are: the contextualization of school texts, the lack of planning of Montubio cultural activities, the lack of meaningful teaching about the Montubio people and the use of technology that affects the cultural identity of the students, this project concludes in recommendations to improve the quality of educational practices from an intercultural approach. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación radica en la importancia de analizar como el fomentar las Tradiciones Ancestrales Montubias influyen en la identidad cultural de los estudiantes de las instituciones educativas Unidad Educativa Réplica “Eugenio Espejo” y la Escuela de Educación Básica “Juan León Mera” del cantón Babahoyo y Montalvo pertenecientes a la provincia de Los Ríos, así mismo se pretende dejar un aporte teórico que brinde a las futuras generaciones una orientación a posteriores investigaciones relacionadas con el tema y dejar un aporte significativo a los docentes de las instituciones educativas sobre la relevancia de conocer, promover, practicar, preservar y difundir las tradiciones ancestrales del pueblo montubio del Ecuador.
El estudio fue realizado bajo una investigación descriptiva con el fin de comprender las variables de estudio y establecer una comparativa entre las dos instituciones educativas, el enfoque empleado fue mixto puesto que se aplicaron entrevista (docentes) y encuestas (estudiantes). En base a los resultados obtenidos se identificó que las instituciones educativas enfrentan desafíos relacionado a la práctica y preservación de las tradiciones ancestrales del montubio fluminense debido a diversos factores aunque los más relevantes son: la contextualización de los textos escolares, la falta de planificación de actividades culturales montubias, la enseñanza no significativa sobre el pueblo montubio y el uso de la tecnología que afecta a la identidad cultural de los estudiantes, este proyecto concluye en recomendaciones para mejorar la calidad de las prácticas educativas desde un enfoque intercultural. | es_ES |
