dc.descriptionThe purpose of this study, which has as its theme: Governmental communication and the building of trust in the governments of Guillermo Lasso and Daniel Noboa, is to evaluate how well the communication tactics of these two Ecuadorian presidents worked. The ability of any country to remain stable and move forward depends to a great extend on the faith that citizen have in their leaders. This paper seeks to explain how communication strategies can influence civil society opinion and support. In addition, it seeks to understand the strategies employed to foster openness and citizen participation through an in-depth examination of communication tactics, along with the influence these tactics have had on establishing public trust during their individual terms in office. The research is focused on identifying the different ways of communication employed by both governments, since in this way we will achieve our general objetive. Also, the perception of the Ecuadorian population on the transparency of information promoved by Lasso and Noboa will be analyzed. To conclude, we will evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies in building public trust, which will allow us to offer a critical and comparative perspective on the communication management of both leaders. Thes integrated approach aims to provide an in-depth understanding af how communication can be a crucial instrument for building the trust and legitimacy of an administration in the ayes of its people.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl propósito de este estudio que tiene como tema: Comunicación gubernamental y la construcción de confianza en los gobiernos de Guillermo Lasso y Daniel Noboa, es evaluar qué tan bien funcionaron las tácticas de comunicación de estos dos presidentes ecuatorianos. La capacidad de cualquier país para mantenerse estable y avanzar depende en gran medida de la fe que le tienen los ciudadanos a sus dirigentes. Este ensayo pretende explicar cómo las estrategias de comunicación pueden influir en la opinión y el apoyo de la sociedad civil. Además, se busca comprender las estrategias empleadas para fomentar la apertura y la participación ciudadana mediante un exámen en profundidad de las tácticas de comunicación, junto con la influencia que estas tácticas han tenido en el establecimiento de la confianza pública durante sus mandatos individuales. La investigación se centra en identificar las diversas maneras de comunicación empleadas por ambos gobiernos, ya que de esta manera lograremos nuestro objetivo general. También, se analizará la percepción de la población ecuatoriana sobre la transparencia de la información promovida por Lasso y Noboa. Para finalizar, evaluaremos la eficacia de estas estrategias en la creación de confianza pública, lo que nos permitirá ofrecer una perspectiva crítica y comparada de la gestión de la comunicación de ambos líderes. Este enfoque integrado tiene como objetivo proporcionar una comprensión profunda de cómo la comunicación puede ser un instrumento crucial para construir la confianza y legitimidad de una administración en los ojos de su pueblo.es_ES
