dc.description | The development of this work was based on the impact of Omega-3 fatty acids on the quality and productivity of hen eggs; the purpose of this research was to determine how the inclusion of this type of acids in the diet of hens influences the quantity of eggs produced, the improvement of their quality and the identification of the optimum level of supplementation to maximize the benefits. In order to carry out this bibliographic study, an analysis of previous studies related to the subject of the study was carried out. The results showed that Omega -3 supplementation, in a range of 3 to 4% of the total hen diet, improves the nutritional profile of eggs without affecting the quantity of eggs produced; In addition, this practice is increasingly used by poultry farmers, since eggs enriched with Omega -3 are highly valued by consumers. In conclusion, it is highlighted that using sources rich in this type of fatty acids, such as flaxseed, are an effective strategy to improve egg quality, although the cost of supplementation may be higher, the consumer's payment for this type of product compensates this investment. Further research in this area is recommended, especially regarding the optimal source and dosage of these acids in poultry farming. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
