dc.description | The present research refers to the "Production of Hydroponic Green Forage of corn (Zea mays) as a supplement in pig feeding", where the general objective is to analyze the impact of the production of FVH as a supplement in pig feeding. The methodology used was based on a basic-descriptive research, which was carried out through a documentary analysis of the collection of information from bibliographic citations, which allowed a broad vision of the subject studied, the importance of balanced feeding in pigs, definition of hydroponic forage, the nutritional values that hydroponic crops provide in the feeding of pigs, in addition, the feeding costs of applying hydroponic forage as nutritional supplementation in pigs, as well as the benefits and nutritional values that the crop provides. The results indicate that corn grown hydroponically as green forage offers an exceptional profile of proteins, vitamins and minerals essential for the growth and development of pigs, reducing dependence on commercial inputs. In addition, FVH is highly palatable, which increases the feed intake and daily weight gain of pigs, promoting a more balanced and natural diet. In conclusion, improvement of digestive health and strengthening of the immune system, combining 45% of FVH with 55% of commercial balance optimized the performance and efficient production of pigs in terms of feeding costs in the application of green forage cultivation Hydroponic is sustainable in the long term, although the initial investment is high due to implementation costs, it reduces production times and guarantees nutritional quality | es_ES |

| es_ES |
