The present research focused on exploring in detail the relationship between language skills and the progressive development of communication in children between the ages of 3 and 4 years. The central issue is directed towards a detailed understanding of how these language skills impact on communicative growth at this crucial stage of child development. To address this question, a mixed approach was implemented, combining both qualitative and quantitative methods to obtain a comprehensive view. The results yield an inclination toward the idea that language skills exert a considerable influence on communication development in this age group. However, it is important to note that a significant portion of the participants expressed divergent opinions, which underscores the existence of a diversity of perspectives on this topic. As a result of this thorough analysis, the conclusions obtained underline the critical importance of language skills in the communicative progress of young children. These conclusions reaffirm the need to consider communicative skills as one of the fundamental aspects of infant development. However, they also maintain the need for further research in this area. It is essential to continue exploring new intervention strategies and to improve existing ones in order to maximize the positive impact that these skills can have on child development.es_ES
