dc.descriptionThis research focuses on examining the effectiveness of the Montessori Method in the development of autonomy in Early Education children of the Adolfo María Astudillo Educational Unit in the city of Babahoyo; Using a qualitative approach, observation and interview techniques were implemented, supported by instruments such as questionnaires and observation sheets. For data collection, a sample of 6 teachers and 30 children legally enrolled and with the authorization of their representatives was taken into account. In the field of early education, the Montessori Method has stood out for its focus on the comprehensive development of the child, promoting autonomy and independence from an early age, it is based on fundamental principles that promote self-learning, active exploration and respect. by the individual rhythm of each child The findings suggest that the implementation of the Montessori Method positively impacts the development of autonomy in Early Education children. These results not only have practical implications for educators and parents, but also contribute to the body of knowledge about the effectiveness of the Montessori Method in specific contexts. In conclusion, the study highlights the effectiveness of the Montessori Method in promoting child autonomy and highlights the importance of adequate implementation and continuous training of teaching staff to maximize its benefits.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl propósito de este estudio es investigar la efectividad del método Montessori en el desarrollo de la autonomía de los niños en educación inicial del departamento educativo Adolfo María Astudillo de la ciudad de Babahoyo; utilizando métodos cualitativos apoyados en herramientas como cuestionarios y hojas de observación, se introdujeron métodos de observación y entrevista. Para la recolección de datos se consideró una muestra de 6 docentes y 30 niños que estaban legalmente registrados y aprobados por sus representantes. En educación infantil, el método educativo Montessori se distingue por su enfoque en el desarrollo integral de los niños, promoviendo la autonomía y la independencia desde una edad temprana, y sus principios básicos son el autoaprendizaje, la exploración activa y el fomento del respeto. Los resultados de la investigación, basados en el ritmo individual de cada niño, muestran que la introducción de los métodos de enseñanza Montessori tiene un efecto positivo en el desarrollo de la autonomía de los niños en la educación temprana. Estos resultados no sólo tienen implicaciones prácticas para educadores y padres, sino que también ayudan a comprender la eficacia del enfoque Montessori en situaciones específicas. En general, este estudio destaca la eficacia del enfoque Montessori en la promoción de la autonomía de los niños y la importancia de una implementación adecuada y una formación continua de los docentes para maximizar sus beneficios.es_ES
