| dc.description | Media ethics is a fundamental area that addresses the moral principles and standards that guide the conduct of communication professionals in the production and dissemination of information. This field focuses on the responsibility of the media towards society and seeks to guarantee truthfulness, impartiality and integrity in the presentation of news and entertainment and most of all when presenting issues related to violence. The objective of this research is to analyze the ethics and social responsibility of the media in the province of Los Ríos and the treatment of issues related to violence, for which it has been considered to conduct interviews and surveys with different journalists from the 32 media registered that exist in the province of Los Ríos and 100 people who are chosen randomly and to determine how they perceive the information issued by the media on issues of violence, with the purpose of presenting true and precise results that help understand to the study problem. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La ética de los medios de comunicación es un área fundamental que aborda los principios y normas morales que guían la conducta de los profesionales de la comunicación en la producción y difusión de información. Este campo se centra en la responsabilidad de los medios hacia la sociedad y busca garantizar la veracidad, la imparcialidad y la integridad en la presentación de noticias y entretenimiento y más que todo a la hora de presentar temas relacionados con la violencia. El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar la ética y la responsabilidad social de los medios de comunicación en la provincia de Los Ríos y el tratamiento de temas relacionados con la violencia para lo cual se ha considerado realizar entrevistas y encuestas a diferentes periodistas de los 32 medios registrados que existen en la provincia de Los Ríos y a 100 personas las cuales son elegidas de manera aleatoria y lograr determinar cómo perciben la información emitida por los medios de comunicación en temas de violencia, con la finalidad de presentar resultados verídicos y precisos que ayuden a entender a la problemática de estudio. | es_ES |
