| dc.description | Ecuador enjoys a diverse and enriched musical tradition, however, many Ecuadorians are unaware of the various national musical genres and their cultural importance. For this reason, it was considered relevant and necessary to conduct a research on this topic due to the lack of support and scarce diffusion of national music in the country. The main objective of this research was to explore the different national musical genres divulged in the Ecuadorian audiovisual productions included in the streaming platform "Cholo Plus". We took into account the use of mixed and descriptive research, to implement observation sheets, a group approach and an interview that allowed us to know the necessary answers to this problem. Thus, it was concluded that the most used Ecuadorian musical genres in national audiovisual productions are “Pasillo” and “Albazo”. On the other hand, it was found that international genres such as Rock, “Cumbia” and “Salsa” also have greater inclusion in Ecuadorian audiovisual products. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El Ecuador goza de diversa y enriquecida tradición musical, sin embargo, muchos ecuatorianos desconocen los diversos géneros musicales nacionales y su importancia cultural. Por esta razón, se consideró relevante y necesario hacer una investigación sobre este tema debido a la falta de apoyo y escasa difusión de la música nacional en el país. El objetivo principal de esta investigación fue explorar los diferentes géneros musicales nacionales divulgados en las producciones audiovisuales ecuatorianas incluidas en la plataforma de streaming “Cholo Plus”. Se tomó en cuenta el uso de la investigación mixta y descriptiva, para implementar fichas de observación, realizar un enfoque grupal y una entrevista que permitieron conocer las respuestas necesarias a esta problemática. De esta forma, se obtuvo como conclusión que los géneros musicales ecuatorianos más utilizados en las producciones audiovisuales nacionales son el “Pasillo” y el “Albazo”. Por otra parte, se logró constatar que géneros internacionales como el “Rock”, “Cumbia” y “Salsa” también tienen mayor inclusión dentro de productos audiovisuales de Ecuador. | es_ES |
