dc.description | The cultural environment is a fundamental factor in the academic field because there are shortcomings in the behavior of the students, which are related to the cultural context that takes place in their homes, for this reason it is considered important to emphasize the importance of the conservation of the habit of good customs, being the first legacy for future generations. Thus, the present study aims to determine how the cultural environment affects the academic behavior of the students of Eugenio Espejo, Babahoyo. 2022. Therefore, this research is carried out under the application of the quantitative and qualitative method, in addition to the explanatory and descriptive type, which are developed with their respective analyzes. In the same way, within the results it is established that there are high rates of violence, intolerance and lack of respect in school communities, for which reason interventions in the family nucleus are important, for the formation of minors and thus promote values both at home and in educational institutions. Therefore, it is concluded that the absence of specific elements of academic behavior such as responsibility, commitment, tolerance, gratitude, honesty and generosity, represent a set of values that should be promoted from the first beginnings of life. In addition, it is considered that certain behaviors affect the process of socialization of students in the institution due to the lack of good customs in the community. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El entorno cultural resulta un factor fundamental en el ámbito académico debido a que se presentan falencias en la conducta de los estudiantes, las cuales se relacionan con el contexto cultural que se desarrolla en sus hogares, por eso se considera importante hacer énfasis en la importancia de la conservación del hábito de buenas costumbres, al ser el primer legado para las generaciones futuras. Así el presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar cómo el entorno cultural incide en el comportamiento académico de los estudiantes de Eugenio Espejo, Babahoyo. 2022. Por lo cual esta investigación se realiza bajo la aplicación del método cuantitativo y cualitativo, además del tipo explicativo y descriptivo, que se desarrollan con sus respectivos análisis. De igual manera, dentro de los resultados se establece que existen altos índices de violencia, intolerancia y falta de respeto en las comunidades escolares, por lo que las intervenciones en el núcleo familiar son importantes, para la formación de los menores y así promover valores tanto en el hogar como en las instituciones educativas. Por consiguiente, se concluye que la ausencia de los elementos puntuales del comportamiento académico tales como la responsabilidad, el compromiso, la tolerancia, la gratitud, la honestidad y la generosidad, representan un conjunto de valores que se debe fomentar desde los primeros inicios de vida. Además, se considera que ciertas conductas afectan el proceso de socialización de los estudiantes en la institución a causa de la carencia de buenas costumbres en la comunidad. | es_ES |
