The quantitative research approach was applied together with the descriptive design consisting of the characterization of an observable fact to a group of individuals, which in this case are the 86 students who belong to the first semester of the Pedagogy of Experimental Computer Sciences career with the purpose to know their behaviors in the face of the problem. Documentary research was used to conceptualize social networks and the Internet and establish the advantages and disadvantages of each of them, likewise, the survey was used as an instrument for data collection. Therefore, the results show a satisfactory impact on students where their learning process is facilitated with the integration of these tools, and even the eligibility of access to distance careers, a modality that has been carried out in various national higher education institutions. and international, and that this has motivated first-semester students to enter one of them.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEn este estudio de caso se identifica el impacto que tienen las redes sociales y el internet en el proceso de aprendizaje. Se aplicó el enfoque de investigación cuantitativa junto al diseño descriptivo consistente en la caracterización de un hecho observable a un grupo de individuos que en este caso son los 86 estudiantes que pertenecen al primer semestre de la carrera de Pedagogía de las Ciencias Experimentales Informática con el fin de conocer sus comportamientos frente a la problemática. Se utilizó la investigación documental para conceptualizar las redes sociales e internet y establecer las ventajas y desventajas de cada una de ellas, así mismo, como instrumento se empleó la encuesta para la recolección de datos. Por consiguiente, los resultados evidencian un impacto satisfactorio en los estudiantes donde su proceso de aprendizaje se facilita con la integración de estas herramientas, e incluso la elegibilidad de acceso a carreras a distancia, modalidad que se ha visto efectuadas en diversas instituciones de educación superior nacional e internacional, y que esto ha motivado a los estudiantes del primer semestre ingresar a unas de ellas.es_ES
