dc.description | The present study deals with the role of parents and their influence on the learning process of children; the current context in which society lives demands this research because parents are immersed in multiple activities and sometimes neglect the academic support that their children demand. The study has a qualitative-quantitative approach, in which the types of documentary and field research were used to academically support the criteria issued throughout the study; the selected sample are 30 parents of students attending parallel A of the 5th year of EGB in the UE Emigdio Esparza Moreno, to whom a survey was applied to obtain a general description of the current situation. The results show that, although most parents are aware of the importance of providing effective accompaniment to their children, they do not set aside quality time to be attentive to their children's learning. The conclusions of the research are that the role of the parents does influence the learning of the children, since those who show better averages are those who have a better academic accompaniment from their parents. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio se trata del rol de los padres de familia y su influencia en el proceso de aprendizaje de los niños; el contexto actual que vive la sociedad demanda de esta investigación porque los padres de familia están inmersos en múltiples actividades y en ocasiones descuidan el acompañamiento académico que sus representados demandan. El estudio posee un enfoque
cuantitativo, en el cual se empleó los tipos de investigación documental y de campo, para sustentar académicamente los criterios emitidos a lo largo del estudio; la muestra seleccionada son 30 padres de familia de estudiantes que asisten al paralelo A del el 5to año de EGB en la UE Emigdio Esparza Moreno, a quienes se les aplicó una encuesta para obtener una descripción general de la situación actual. Los resultados evidencian que, aunque la mayoría de padres son conscientes de la importancia de brindar un acompañamiento efectivo a sus hijos; sin embargo, no segregan un tiempo de calidad para estar pendientes del aprendizaje de sus representados. Las conclusiones de la investigación es que el rol de los padres de familia si influye en el aprendizaje de los niños, puesto que aquellos que evidencian mejores promedios son los que tienen un mejor acompañamiento académico de sus padres. | es_ES |
