dc.descriptionThe main objective of the following research work is to determine educational inclusion and its effect on social skills among fifth-year students of education at the Juan E. Verdesoto Basic School. A mixed method research approach was used, where the explanatory type attempted to note the effect on the study variables, and documentary literature was used, where the survey work was reviewed to gather information on the specific topic for the population. The Juan E. Verdesoto Basic Education School in the state of Babahoyo, province of Los Ríos, has 90 students, equivalent to fifth grade general education students. The sample was made up of 73 students. The data collection technique is the survey and the tool used in this study is the questionnaire which provides valuable information for our study. After collecting and tabulating the data, the Excel statistical tool was chosen, which was obtained through an instrument previously tested for reliability and validity. The statistical analysis found that 60% of students have difficulties with social skills, so it is suggested to promote inclusive practices in the classroom where self-regulation of behavior and social interaction is worked on, since in this way well-being will be achieved. emotional of the students. dc.description.abstractEl siguiente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo principal determinar la inclusión educativa y su efecto en las habilidades sociales entre los estudiantes de quinto año de educación de la Escuela Básica de Juan E. Verdesoto. Se utilizó un enfoque de investigación de método mixto, donde el tipo explicativo intentó notar el efecto sobre las variables de estudio, y se utilizó literatura documental, donde se revisó el trabajo de encuesta para recopilar información sobre el tema específico para la población. La Escuela de Educación Básica Juan E. Verdesoto del estado Babahoyo, provincia de Los Ríos, cuenta con 90 alumnos, equivalente a estudiantes de quinto grado de educación general. La muestra estuvo conformada por 73 estudiantes. La técnica de recolección de datos es la encuesta y la herramienta utilizada en este estudio es el cuestionario el cual proporciona información valiosa para nuestro estudio. Luego de recolectar y tabular los datos, se optó por la herramienta estadística Excel, la cual se obtuvo mediante un instrumento previamente probado en cuanto a confiabilidad y validez. El análisis estadístico encontró que el 60% de los estudiantes que tienen dificultades con las habilidades sociales por lo que se sugiere promover las practicas inclusivas en el aula donde se trabaje la autorregulación de conducta e interacción social, ya que de esta manera se lograra el bienestar emocional de los estudiantes. Se concluye que la inclusión educativa es una forma ideal de desarrollar habilidades sociales en los estudiantes con necesidades educativas especificas mejorando su interacción social y competencias interpersonales.es_ES
