Guevara” Educational Unit, this having as a problem that currently many children prefer to spend their time with some technological device, and not entertain themselves with activities that contribute to their development, which is why it is essential that in educational centers, teachers propose activities that promote psychomotor skills at 4 years of age. As a methodology, it can be indicated that the type of descriptive research was applied, through which information was collected considering survey and interview techniques, for parents and the initial education teacher at the Darío C. Guevara Educational Unit, respectively. The results of the study reflected that at home the child is not encouraged to have fun with traditional games, while at school, the teacher believes it is feasible to apply traditional games to enhance psychomotor skills. In this way, it is concluded by indicating that traditional games are positive for a 4-year-old child, influencing their development in good shape, acquiring skills and gaining autonomy in their daily lives.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLos juegos tradicionales a más de ser un aporte a la cultura de los pueblos, son una actividad recreativa incidente en la adquisición de habilidades motrices en niños desde la temprana edad, por tanto un infante a los 4 años tiene la posibilidad de mejorar o adquirir nuevas destrezas mientras se divierte con juegos tradicionales. En el presente estudio de caso, el objetivo es determinar la influencia de los juegos tradicionales en el desarrollo psicomotor de los niños de 4 años de la Unidad Educativa “Darío C. Guevara”, esto teniendo como problemática que actualmente muchos niños prefieren pasar su tiempo con algún dispositivo tecnológico, y no entretenerse con actividades que aporten a su desarrollo, por lo que es fundamental que en centros educativos, los docentes propongan actividades que favorezcan la psicomotricidad a los 4 años. Como metodología, se puede indicar que se aplicó el tipo de investigación descriptiva, mediante el cual, se recabó información considerando las técnicas de encuesta y entrevista, para padres de familia y la docente de educación inicial en la Unidad Educativa Darío C. Guevara, respectivamente. Los resultados del estudio, reflejaron que en el hogar no se induce al niño a que se divierta con juegos tradicionales, mientras que en la escuela, la docente si cree factible la aplicación de juegos tradicionales para potencializar la psicomotricidad. De este modo, se concluye indicando que los juegos tradicionales son positivos para un niño de 4 años, influyendo en su desarrollo de buena forma, adquirir habilidades y ganar autonomía en su día a día.es_ES
