dc.description | The present research is entitled "Role-playing games and their impact on the development of social skills in children of Initial Education 2". Where the study focuses on the Juan E. Verdesoto Basic Education School, located in the city of Babahoyo, province of Los Ríos, in which it is identified that there are difficulties in the socialization processes in some children, who attend classes. Thus, arriving at the lack of a pedagogical approach that incorporates these playful dynamics, limits the capacity of school children to interact effectively with their peers and develop emotionally in a social environment. Despite the recognized importance of these activities, many teachers face challenges in their implementation due to the lack of professional training and preparation. Therefore, the research aims to determine the incidence of role-playing games and their impact on the development of social skills in children of the educational institution; Therefore, a non-experimental methodological design with a descriptive scope and a mixed approach was used, using field research with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews with teachers and surveys for parents, and an observation form for children, being samples and fundamental guides for the study, adopting an analytical-synthetic method. Among the findings, it was revealed that establishing role-playing games in children's education positively impacts their social skills, promoting not only their social and cognitive development but also their emotional development. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | La investigación presente se titula “Juegos de roles y su impacto en el desarrollo de habilidades sociales en niños de Educación Inicial 2”. Donde el estudio se centra en la Escuela de Educación Básica Juan E. Verdesoto, ubicada en la ciudad de Babahoyo provincia de los Ríos, en la cual se identifica que existen dificultades en los procesos de socialización en algunos niños, que asisten a clases. Llegando así, a la falta de enfoque pedagógico que incorpore estas dinámicas lúdicas, limita la capacidad de los escolares para interactuar efectivamente con sus compañeros y desarrollarse emocionalmente en un ambiente social. A pesar de la importancia reconocida de estas actividades, muchos docentes enfrentan desafíos en su implementación debido a la falta de capacitación profesional y preparación. Por el cual, la investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la incidencia de los juegos de roles y su impacto en el desarrollo de habilidades sociales en niños de la institución educativa; por ello se usó un diseño metodológico no experimental con alcance descriptivo y enfoque mixto, utilizando la investigación de campo con técnicas de recolección de datos, tales como la observación, entrevistas dirigida a docente y encuestas dirigida a padres de familia, y ficha de observación dirigida a los niños, siendo muestras y guías fundamentales para el estudio, adoptando un método analítico-sintético. Entre los hallazgos se reveló que al establecer los juegos de roles en la educación de los niños este genera un impacto positivo en sus habilidades sociales, además de fomentar no solo su desarrollo social, cognitivo sino también su desarrollo emocional. | es_ES |
