dc.description | The research addresses the topic of the use of tongue twisters for the development of oral language in children in Early Childhood Education. Tongue twisters strengthen articulation, vocabulary and verbal fluency, promoting language skills during the initial stage of learning. The objective was to establish the influence of tongue twisters on the development of oral language in children in Early Childhood Education I, from the “Morona Santiago” Basic Education School in the province of Los Ríos. The problem is that children fail to develop basic skills such as identifying sounds, correctly articulating words and poor verbal fluency, and difficulty expressing themselves; this is attributed to the lack of resources. The methodology was qualitative, non-experimental in design. The techniques applied were interviews and observation sheets. The population was 25 students and one teacher; The results showed that the application of tongue twisters is limited due to the lack of adequate resources in classrooms, despite its obvious benefits in the articulation and vocalization of children, especially when short and popular tongue twisters are used. In observation, children are unable to recite the tongue twisters out loud, they lack fluency and they are unable to clearly express the tongue twisters. It is concluded that tongue twisters are a key educational tool to improve oral language at all educational levels, especially in children in early education. When used in short and fun activities, tongue twisters promote pronunciation, clear communication, learning new words and verbal fluency. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
