dc.description | The present research is titled “Early stimulation and its impact on gross motor development in Early Childhood Education children”, where early stimulation is a set of special educational techniques that contribute to the comprehensive development of the child. These techniques are provided to the child before birth with the aim of promoting healthy growth and development. Early stimulation aims to improve, strengthen and correct children's brain functions through repetitive games and exercises in various areas, including intellectual, physical, emotional and social. In contrast, gross motor skills refer to the development and control of the body's large muscles, which enable global, coordinated movement, such as crawling, walking, running, jumping, climbing, and throwing. In children, the development of gross motor skills is essential, since it allows them to explore their environment, interact with other children and acquire important physical skills, therefore the objective of the research is to determine the incidence of early stimulation on gross motor development. in early education children of the “Jaime Roldós Aguilera” Educational Unit, to comply with this, a non-experimental cross-sectional research design is used with a descriptive scope with a mixed approach and a type of descriptive and field research as a method. the inductive due to the need to understand and describe in detail the current characteristics and conditions of early stimulation and gross motor development in early education children at the "Jaime Roldós Aguilera" Educational Unit, where the result was that around 75 % of children develop their gross motor skills when adequately stimulated, concluding that early stimulation has a significant impact on the gross motor development of children, therefore it is necessary to continue stimulating them to have optimal results. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
