dc.descriptionThe present research work aimed to propose the use of networks in the teaching-learning process for students of third year of Basic, which contributed to reduce the rate of low school performance in the teaching and learning process, allowed to improve the qualification of students. To meet the proposed objectives, a quail-quantitative research paradigm was implemented, using instruments and techniques that admitted knowing the reality of the context such as interviews, surveys and observation for the data triangulation process that was applied to students and teachers which agreed to determine the benefits of a training program to reduce the low academic performance of students. The interview with the teacher, revealed cases in which the lack of knowledge about the management of technological resources was evidenced, also of the aforementioned degree, later it was possible to apply the direct survey file in the students to determine the degree of knowledge they had about the use of social networks in the teaching-learning process which approved obtaining direct and reliable information, through a systematized and very controlled procedure that students presented in the classroom at the time of applying the survey to determine whether or not they use social networks in the performance of school tasks. The present research was framed in a study, which was developed in two stages: a quantitative descriptive correlational and the other qualitative interpretive.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como finalidad proponer el uso de redes sociales en el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje para estudiantes de tercer Año de Básica, el mismo que contribuyó a reducir el índice de bajo rendimiento escolar en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, permitió mejorar la calificación de los alumnos. Para cumplir con los objetivos propuestos se implementó un paradigma de investigación cualitativo-cuantitativo, utilizando instrumentos y técnicas que admitieron conocer la realidad del contexto como entrevistas, encuestas y observación para el proceso de triangulación de datos que se aplicó a los educandos y docentes la cual accedió a determinar los beneficios de un programa de capacitación para reducir el bajo rendimiento académico de los estudiantes. La entrevista al maestro, dio a conocer casos en los cuales se evidenció la falta de conocimiento sobre el manejo de recursos tecnológicos, también del grado antes mencionado , posteriormente se logró aplicar la ficha de la encuesta directa en los estudiantes para determinar el grado de conocimientos que tenían sobre el uso de redes sociales en el proceso enseñanza -aprendizaje la cual aprobó obtener información directa y confiable, mediante un procedimiento sistematizado y muy controlado que presentaron los estudiantes en el aula en el momento de aplicar la encuesta para determinar si usan o no las redes sociales en la realización de las tareas escolares. La presente investigación se enmarcó en un estudio del caso, el cual se desarrolló en dos etapas: una cuantitativa descriptiva correlacional y la otra cualitativa interpretativa.es_ES
