dc.description | The present investigation focused on determining the impact of teaching materials on learning in children of Initial Education II, of the “Gabriel García Moreno” Educational Unit, of the Ricaurte parish, Urdaneta Canton, Los Ríos Province. Through an applied diagnosis, it was detected that in sublevel 2 there is a shortage of teaching materials, which directly affects the children who attend this sublevel in whom demotivation, lack of concentration, and commitment to activities were noted, which together affects their learning process. learning. The research was qualitative and used a non-experimental, documentary and field design. The study population was made up of teachers and children from Sublevel II, the selection of the sample was carried out intentionally, delimiting Sublevel II “A” for this study. The data collection techniques were interviewing teachers and observing children, complemented by instruments such as the questionnaire and observation sheet. Based on the objectives set, the results allowed us to obtain information about the variety of teaching materials available in the educational unit, as well as their use and the impact on the development of specific skills of the child; and teachers' perception of the effectiveness of teaching materials in learning. The research provided an identification of the level of availability and accessibility of teaching materials in the educational environment in order to identify possible areas of improvement. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se centró en determinar la incidencia de los materiales didácticos en el aprendizaje en niños de Educación Inicial II, de la Unidad Educativa “Gabriel García Moreno”, de la parroquia Ricaurte, Cantón Urdaneta, Provincia Los Ríos. Mediante un diagnóstico aplicado se detectó que en el subnivel 2 existe escasez de materiales didácticos, lo cual afecta directamente a los niños que cursan este subnivel en quienes se notó desmotivación, desconcentración, y comprometerse con las actividades, lo cual en conjunto afecta su proceso de aprendizaje. La investigación fue cualitativa y empleó un diseño no experimental, de tipo documental y de campo. La población de estudio estuvo conformada por los docentes y niños del Subnivel II, la selección de la muestra se realizó de manera intencional, delimitando para este estudio el Subnivel II “A”. Las técnicas de recolección de datos fueron la entrevista a docentes y la observación a los niños complementándose con instrumentos como el cuestionario de preguntas y la ficha de observación. Con base a los objetivos planteados los resultados permitieron obtener información sobre la variedad de materiales didácticos disponibles en la unidad educativa, así como su uso y el impacto en el desarrollo de habilidades específicas del niño; y la percepción de los docentes sobre la eficacia de los materiales didácticos en el aprendizaje. La investigación proporcionó una identificación del nivel de disponibilidad y accesibilidad de los materiales didácticos en el entorno educativo con el fin de identificar posibles áreas de mejora. | es_ES |
