dc.description | Previous studies on cognitive learning have pointed out the importance of play environments to stimulate the development of cognitive skills in preschool children. In this context, the present research was conducted in the San José Educational Unit, located in the city of Babahoyo, Los Ríos province, which was selected for its representativeness in the subject and access to relevant data. The main objective was to analyze the impact of the play corners on the cognitive learning of students in Early Childhood Education II. A mixed methodology of qualitative and quantitative approach was used, which included a literature review through scientific articles, books, theses, blogs, etc. In addition, data collection was carried out and a questionnaire was developed with structured questions based on the study variables, the questionnaire was addressed to parents and teachers, another key instrument for this research was the observation sheet. The results highlight the relevance of the play corners, evidencing their positive influence on the cognitive development of children. It is concluded that the implementation of these corners is fundamental to enrich the preschool learning process and suggests the need for programs that promote key cognitive skills from an early age. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | Los estudios previos sobre el aprendizaje cognitivo han señalado la importancia de los entornos lúdicos para estimular el desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas en niños en edad preescolar. En este contexto, la presente investigación se realizó en la Unidad Educativa San José, situada en la ciudad de Babahoyo, provincia de Los Ríos, dicha institución fue seleccionada por su representatividad en el tema y acceso a datos relevantes. El objetivo principal fue analizar el impacto de los rincones lúdicos en el aprendizaje cognitivo de los estudiantes de Educación Inicial II. Se utilizó una metodología mixta de enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo que incluyó revisión bibliográfica a través de artículos científicos, libros, tesis, blogs, etc. Además, se realizó la recolección de datos y se elaboró un cuestionario con preguntas estructuradas en base a las variables de estudio, el cuestionario fue dirigido a padres de familia y docentes, otro instrumento clave para esta investigación fue la ficha de observación. Los resultados destacan la relevancia de los rincones lúdicos, evidenciando su influencia positiva en el desarrollo cognitivo de los niños. Se concluye que la implementación de estos rincones es fundamental para enriquecer el proceso de aprendizaje preescolar y se sugiere la necesidad de programas que fomenten habilidades cognitivas claves desde una edad temprana. | es_ES |
