dc.description | Investigation was about the need of contributing to cognitive development on basic education students from Jesús Martínez de Ezquerecocha Educative Unit in Babahoyo by using ludic activities, as tools to boost classes, making easy to engage students and strengthening teaching – learning process. To do so it was set as objective to determine the way ludic activities influence the cognitive development of this group of students. Investigation began with a theoretic study about the variables: ludic activities and cognitive development, to them apply a survey to 66 students and an interview to 3 teachers. Results were tabulated and processed by Chi Square Test, making evidence that exist a significant influence between ludic activities on development of knowledge areas. Findings helped to conclude that it is important a constant development of these activities for students benefit because they contribute to improve relationship among students with classmates, teachers and parents, as well as they improve their participation in class and academic performance. Finally, they are proposed some ludic activities that would contribute to cognitive development in many areas of knowledge. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | La investigación abordó la necesidad de aportar en el desarrollo cognitivo de los estudiantes de educación básica elemental de la Unidad Educativa Jesús Martínez de Ezquerecocha a través de actividades lúdicas, como herramientas que dinamizan la clase facilitando la captación de atención y fortaleciendo el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje. Para el efecto se planteó como objetivo determinar la forma en que las actividades lúdicas influyen en el desarrollo cognitivo de ese grupo de estudiantes. La investigación inició con una estudio teórico respecto a las variables de estudio como fueron las actividades lúdicas y el desarrollo cognitivo, para luego aplicar una encuesta a 66 estudiantes y una entrevista a 3 maestros. Los resultados fueron tabulados y procesados mediante el estadístico Chi Cuadrado, demostrándose que existe incidencia altamente significativa de las actividades lúdicas sobre las dimensiones del conocimiento. Los hallazgos permitieron concluir que es importante el desarrollo constante de este tipo de actividades en beneficio de los estudiantes dado que aportan a mejorar la relación con otros compañeros, docentes y padres de familia, mejora su participación en cada actividad y su rendimiento académico. Finalmente, se proponen actividades lúdicas que aportarán en el desarrollo cognitivo en varias áreas del conocimiento. | es_ES |
