dc.descriptionA problem was observed regarding the lack of adequate space and resources to have a reading corner, which affects the cognitive development of students, the objective of this research being to analyze the impact of the reading corner on cognitive development. There is evidence that reading corner activities at an early age strengthen reading cognition in rhythm, speed of acquisition, style of execution, and innate skills. The reading corner is a pleasant space for concentration, tranquility and with all the materials organized, visible and accessible, creating an emotional link between the student and the stories in the books; which develops language through meaningful learning. The quantitative approach measures and analyzes statistics, the research method is inductive-deductive, based on reasoning, describing the problem and drawing conclusions from the reading corner and its impact on cognitive development. Consulting the bibliographical citations and classroom observation, the possible solutions would be: creating an attractive and enriching reading corner, with various books and reading materials, increasing their vocabulary acquisition, reading comprehension and ability to concentrate. It is concluded that the benefits of the reading corner for students are: love for reading, perceiving books as a game and stimulating the child's brain.es_ES

dc.description.abstractSe observó una problemática sobre la carencia de un espacio adecuado y de recursos para contar con un rincón de lectura, el cual inciden el desarrollo cognitivo de estudiantes, siendo el objetivo de esta investigación, analizar el impacto del rincón de la lectura en el desarrollo cognitivo. Existe evidencia que las actividades de rincón de lectura a temprana edad, fortalecen la cognición en la lectura en ritmo, velocidad de adquisición, estilo de ejecución y destrezas innatas. El rincón de lectura es un espacio agradable para la concentración, la tranquilidad y con todos los materiales ordenados, visibles y accesibles, creando un vínculo emocional entre el estudiante y las historias de los libros; lo cual desarrolla el lenguaje a través de un aprendizaje significativo. El enfoque cuantitativo mide y analiza la estadística, el método de investigación es el inductivo-deductivo, basado en el razonamiento, describiendo el problema y sacar conclusiones del rincón de lectura y su impacto en el desarrollo cognitivo. Consultando las citas bibliográficas y la observación en el aula, las posibles soluciones serían: crear un rincón de lectura atractivo y enriquecedor, con libros y materiales de lectura variadas, incrementando su adquisición de vocabulario, comprensión lectora y capacidad de concentración. Se concluye que los beneficios del rincón de la lectura en los estudiantes, son: amor por la lectura, percibir los libros como un juego y estimula el cerebro del niño.es_ES
