dc.description | Nowadays, education faces great challenges such as the unlimited use of didactic resources, generating a demotivation in students, since these techniques play a fundamental role in the process of teaching and learning of students, and for this reason teachers must seek different methodologies in order to arrive with the necessary knowledge. For this reason, the purpose of this case study was to show that didactic resources influence the academic performance of students. For this reason, the following general objective was proposed: to determine the didactic resources that help improve the academic performance of students at the Jorge Icaza Delgado Elementary School in Babahoyo Canton 2023. The type of research was basic, under a qualitative-descriptive approach; for data collection, interview and observation were used as a result of this analysis it can be concluded that the educational establishment has a scarce use of didactic resources, which leads to an unsatisfactory level of academic performance. Concluding that teachers still use traditional methods this means that educational institutions do not apply innovative teaching strategies, which generates that students have difficulties to understand and learn the content, so it must be taken into account that, if new methodological and innovative strategies are used, the students' skills can be developed and the teachers' teaching task can be facilitated. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | En la actualidad la educación se enfrenta a grandes desafíos como es el ilimitado uso de los recursos didácticos generando una desmotivación en los estudiantes ya que dichas técnicas cumplen un rol fundamental en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de los estudiantes y es por tal motivo que los docentes deben de buscar diversas metodologías para poder llegar con los conocimientos necesarios. Es por esta razón que dentro de este estudio de caso tuvo como propósito evidenciar que los recursos didácticos influyen en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes, es por tal motivo que se planteo el siguiente objetivo general: determinar los recursos didácticos que ayuden a mejorar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de la escuela de educación básica Jorge Icaza Delgado Cantón Babahoyo 2023. El tipo de investigación fue básica, bajo un enfoque cualitativo-descriptivo; para la recolección de datos se utilizó la entrevista y la observación como resultado de este análisis se puede concluir que el establecimiento educativo tiene un escaso uso de los recursos didácticos, por lo que conlleva esto a un nivel poco satisfactorio en el rendimiento académico. Concluyendo en que los docentes todavía utilizan métodos tradicionales esto significa que las instituciones educativas no aplican estrategias innovadoras de enseñanza, lo que genera que los estudiantes tengan dificultades para comprender y aprender el contenido, por lo que hay que tomar en cuenta que, si se emplea nuevas estrategias metodológicas e innovadoras, se puede desarrollar las habilidades de los estudiantes y facilitar la tarea de enseñanza de los docentes. | es_ES |
