dc.description | This research project deals with the situation of sandy soils and the possibilities of their recovery and restoration to convert them into useful soils to develop commercial crops using techniques and technologies already experienced in the country and in other countries, which we know through specialized publications. This is a problem that attracts attention in countries affected by wind and water erosion and that have extensive desert regions; but it is also a problem for countries like Ecuador where the impact of global warming and the greenhouse effect is already being felt. The study objectives focused on identifying, analyzing and describing the main techniques used for the recovery of sandy soils. The methodology used to carry out this research work was based on the techniques of analysis, description, paraphrasing, and synthesis of the bibliographical heritage investigated. Therefore, this research project is justified because it contributes to the knowledge of the recovery of sandy soils, presenting the most appropriate techniques used in this activity, always with the purpose of transforming them into usable soils as a means of agricultural production. It can be concluded then that if there is the purpose of recovering and restoring sandy soils to use them in commercial agricultural practice, it is possible to do so through:
-Substitution of soil materials at the level of the arable layer.
-Amendments, organic fertilizer, drip irrigation
-Use of Liquid Nano Clay (Liquid Nano Clay.- LNC).
-Sealing techniques (such as oil, synthetic rubber, chemicals and water-soluble plastics for fixing native vegetation). | es_ES |

| es_ES |
