dc.description | This research addressed the issue of the implementation of information and communication technologies in the 3rd Baccalaureate of the Federico Froebel Unit of the Babahoyo city, province of Los Ríos, because the study modality changed from being face-to-face to being completely virtual, by provision of the government to avoid contagion in times of a Covid-19 pandemic. The main objective of the case study was to identify the advantages and disadvantages that occurred in the teaching-learning process in the aforementioned course. The development of the theoretical framework is based on bibliographic sources of the topic of interest. A mixed approach methodology was proposed, with two interviews to teachers, respectively to Ab. Fran Braña Fernández Msc, and Professor Hercilia Jaime Morales and a survey applied to students, and additionally the observation of virtual classes, which allowed to know first-hand information. According to the analytical-synthetic method carried out, it is concluded that one of the most important advantages is that thanks to these technologies the corresponding teaching period has been met. On the contrary, the disadvantage that has arisen is under direct contact of teachers with students, especially with those who do not actively participate. And the problems that the campus has solved, for their teachers, is the connection of devices to the Internet. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | Esta investigación abordó el tema de la implementación de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación en el 3ro de Bachillerato de la Unidad Federico Froebel del cantón Babahoyo, provincia de Los Ríos, debido a que la modalidad de estudio cambio de ser presencial a ser completamente virtual, por disposición del gobierno para evitar contagios en tiempos de pandemia de Covid-19. El objetivo principal del estudio de caso fue identificar las ventajas y desventajas que se presentaron en el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje en el curso mencionado. El desarrollo del marco teórico se basa en fuentes bibliográficas del tema de interés. Se planteó una metodología de enfoque mixto, con dos entrevistas a docentes, respectivamente al Ab. Fran Braña Fernández Msc, y la profesora Hercilia Jaime Morales y de una encuesta aplicada a los estudiantes, y adicionalmente la observación de las clases virtuales, lo que permitió conocer información de primera mano. De acuerdo con el método analítico – sintético realizado, se concluye que una de las ventajas más importante es que gracias a estas tecnologías se ha cumplido con el periodo lectivo correspondiente. Por el contrario, la desventaja que se ha presentado es bajo contacto directo de los profesores con los alumnos, especialmente con los que no participan activamente. Y los problemas que ha dado solución el plantel, para sus maestros, es la conexión de dispositivos a Internet. | es_ES |
