Family dysfunction is a growing concern in contemporary society, especially due to its potential impact on child development and the formation of values. This study focuses on exploring the relationship between family dysfunction and the formation of values in early education children, with the general objective of determining the magnitude of this impact. The methodology used was descriptive, documentary and exploratory in nature, with a non-experimental design, and a mixed approach for which surveys were carried out. Information was collected through various documentary sources to better understand family dysfunction and its influence on the formation of values in the initial stage of childhood education. Additionally, several outcomes were identified as family factors, such as lack of communication, constant conflict, and the absence of consistent parental figures, which contributed to this dysfunctionality and directly affected the formation of values in children. In conclusion, this research project highlights the importance of addressing family dysfunction as a key factor in the formation of values in childhood. To address this problem effectively, a comprehensive intervention that involves the family, school and community is required. It is important to highlight the need for teachers and parents to be well informed on this topic since in this way communication, conflict resolution and solid family relationships are encouraged, thus ensuring that children acquire values in a way appropriate.es_ES
