| dc.description | The present investigation with the topic: Education in values and its influence on the emotional intelligence of the students of the 8th year of Basic Education at the "Juan E. Verdesoto" school, located in the city of Babahoyo, which achievement to achieve is to determine the relevance of education in universal values and its influence on Emotional Intelligence, the inquiry used: Descriptive-Explanatory Inquiry. Non-experimental research. Instruments such as the questionnaire and the survey were applied to 10 teachers. It is concluded that Education in Values is relevant since it significantly influences the increase in the Emotional Intelligence of the students of the Juan E. Verdesoto Basic Education School, by virtue of the fact that values and Emotional Intelligence provide a comprehensive development of students so that when they become professionals they perform in the best way in any field, the emotional will of the student must also be taken into account. However, neglecting the knowledge of universal values and emotional intelligence would cause non-significant learning for their academic training, hindering the ability to locate and monitor emotions for the benefit of their training. The influence and configuration of values in students directs instruction in principles, as a fundamental ingredient in EGB, strengthening education in values. Therefore, within the practice, stimulating the student does not depend only on how qualified the teacher is, but rather focusing on learning that is meaningful. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La presente indagación con el tema: Educación en valores y su influencia en la inteligencia emocional de los estudiantes del 8vo año de E. Básica en la escuela "Juan E. Verdesoto", localizada en la ciudad de Babahoyo, lo cual el logro a alcanzar es determinar la relevancia de la educación en valores universales y su influencia en la Inteligencia Emocional, la indagación utilizada: Indagación Descriptiva-Explicativa. Investigación no-experimental. Se aplicó instrumentos como el cuestionario y la encuesta que fueron ejecutadas a 10 docentes. Se concluye, que la Educación en Valores es relevante ya que influye notablemente en el incremento de la Inteligencia Emocional de los educandos de la Escuela de Educación Básica Juan E. Verdesoto, en virtud de que los valores y la Inteligencia Emocional proporcionan un desarrollo integral de los estudiantes para que cuando lleguen a ser profesionales se desenvuelvan de la mejor manera en cualquier ámbito, también debe tomarse en cuenta la voluntad anímica del educando. Sin embargo desatender el conocimiento de los valores universales y la inteligencia emocional ocasionaría un aprendizaje no significativo para su formación académica, dificultando la destreza de localizar y monitorear las emociones en beneficio de su capacitación. La influencia y configuración de los valores en los estudiantes encamina la instrucción en principios, como un ingrediente fundamental en la EGB, fortaleciendo la educación en valores. Por consiguiente, al interior de la práctica, estimular al educando no obedece únicamente de cuan capacitado este el docente, si no que se concentre en un aprendizaje que sea significativo. | es_ES |
