dc.description.abstract | El turismo gastronómico es una tendencia en crecimiento, año a año turistas se movilizan de su lugar de residencia, en busca de nuevas experiencias culinarias, con productos diferentes y exóticos, visitando festivales gastronómicos, mercados en busca de productos frescos o visitan restaurantes, para deleitar su paladar con la gastronomía local. La actividad turística se caracteriza en la actualidad por grandes cambios motivados por la necesidad de adaptarse a una demanda cada vez más exigente y activa. Así, y entre otros cambios, nos encontramos con que los viajeros suelen realizar más viajes a lo largo del año, aunque de menor duración, están más informados tanto del destino como del producto o buscan nuevos tipos de recursos turísticos.
