In the current digital age, the proliferation of information and the presence of various media platforms have significantly transformed the dynamics of learning and access to knowledge. Using a quantitative approach, surveys were applied to a representative sample of students to assess the influence of the media, both traditional and digital, on their academic training. This study is relevant to understanding how constant exposure to various media content affects the acquisition of knowledge, the development of critical thinking, and interaction with educational resources. The findings of this research will provide a deep understanding of the effects of media communication in higher education, allowing us to determine whether its integration into the academic environment represents an advantage that enriches the professional training process or, on the contrary, poses challenges that must be addressed to optimize student learning.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación analiza cómo los medios de comunicación influyen en el proceso educativo de los estudiantes universitarios. En la era digital actual, la proliferación de información y la presencia de diversas plataformas mediáticas han transformado significativamente las dinámicas de aprendizaje y acceso al conocimiento. Mediante un enfoque cuantitativo, se aplicaron encuestas a una muestra representativa de estudiantes para evaluar la influencia de los medios de comunicación, tanto tradicionales como digitales, en su formación académica. Este estudio es relevante para comprender cómo la exposición constante a diversos contenidos mediáticos afecta la adquisición de conocimientos, el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico y la interacción con los recursos educativos. Los hallazgos de esta investigación proporcionarán una comprensión profunda de los efectos de la comunicación mediática en la educación superior, permitiendo determinar si su integración en el entorno académico representa una ventaja que enriquece el proceso de formación profesional o si, por el contrario, plantea desafíos que deben ser abordados para optimizar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes.es_ES
