dc.descriptionThis research analyzes the impact of competitive strategies to counteract the decrease in sales in Comercial Comandato S.A., in the city of Babahoyo during the period 2023. Through a mixed method study, 382 Babahoyenses of legal age who recognize Comandato S.A., were surveyed, an interview was conducted with the manager of Comandato S.A., Babahoyo branch, carrying out direct observations. An exhaustive analysis of the company's internal and external environment was carried out, using tools such as SWOT analysis. The results obtained show that the drop in sales is due to factors such as increased competition, changes in consumer preferences and the lack of innovation in current commercial strategies. Based on these findings, differentiation strategies, cost leadership and focus are proposed, in order to improve the company's competitiveness and recover its share in the local market.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEsta investigación analiza el impacto de las estrategias competitivas para contrarrestar la disminución de ventas en Comercial Comandato S.A., en la ciudad de Babahoyo durante el período 2023. A través de un estudio de método mixto, se encuestó a 382 babahoyenses mayores de edad que reconocen a Comandato S.A., se realizó entrevista al gerente de Comandato S.A., sucursal Babahoyo llevando a cabo observaciones directas. se realizó un análisis exhaustivo del entorno interno y externo de la empresa, utilizando herramientas como el análisis FODA. Los resultados obtenidos evidencian que la caída en las ventas se debe a factores como el aumento de la competencia, cambios en las preferencias del consumidor y la falta de innovación en las estrategias comerciales actuales. En base a estos hallazgos, se proponen estrategias de diferenciación, liderazgo en costos y enfoque, con el fin de mejorar la competitividad de la empresa y recuperar su participación en el mercado local.es_ES
