dc.descriptionThe purpose of this research was to study the work environment and its impact on the work performance of the municipal fire department employees of the Puebloviejo 2023 canton. The objectives of the research were to diagnose the current situation of the work environment in the municipal fire department of the Puebloviejo 2023 canton, as well as to determine the factors that negatively affect the work environment and to determine the organizational strategies to improve the work environment in the aforementioned institution. In order to obtain the results of the research, a survey questionnaire was applied to the institution's employees, which consisted of 10 closed questions regarding the evaluation of the work environment, and an interview was also applied to the head of the institution in order to identify the level of performance of the employees. The results of the research are related to the identification of the existing work environment, which is characterized by being moderately pleasant; that is, it does not guarantee the existence of a good relationship between employees and the institution; In addition, discontent was also identified among employees due to the lack of stability provided by the institution, as well as the lack of motivational incentives, the notable absence of training and the impossibility of promotion to other hierarchical levels within the organization.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tuvo como finalidad el estudio del clima laboral y su incidencia en el desempeño laboral de los servidores del cuerpo de bombero municipal del cantón Puebloviejo 2023. Los objetivos de la investigación consistieron en el diagnóstico de la situación actual del clima laboral en el cuerpo de bombero municipal del cantón Puebloviejo 2023, así como la determinación de los factores que inciden negativamente en el clima laboral y determinar las estrategias organizacionales para mejorar el clima laboral en la mencionada institución. Para efectos de la obtención de los resultados de la investigación se procedió a la aplicación de un cuestionario de encuesta a los servidores de la institución, el cual se encontraba conformado por 10 preguntas cerradas con respecto a la evaluación del clima laboral, y además se aplicó una entrevista dirigido al jefe de la institución con el fin de lograr identificar el nivel de desempeño de los empleados. Los resultados de la investigación tienen relación con la identificación del clima laboral existente el cual se caracteriza por ser medianamente agradable; es decir, que no garantiza la existencia de una buena relación entre los empleados y la institución; además de esto también se identificó el descontento de los colaboradores por la poca estabilidad brindada por la institución, así como la falta de incentivos motivacionales, la ausencia notable de capacitación y la imposibilidad de ascenso hacia otros niveles jerárquicos dentro de la organización.es_ES
