dc.descriptionThe objective of this case study is to analyze the administrative management of the Jarrín Herrera Warehouse in Babahoyo during the year 2024, the purpose of which is focused on identifying deficiencies in the administrative procedures implemented and proposing improvement strategies. To achieve this investigative objectivity, a qualitative-quantitative approach based on an analytical method was used, which achieved a comprehensive assessment of each of the factors that influence the operational efficiency of the business. It should be noted that surveys were carried out aimed at the company's staff and an interview with the manager, with the purpose of understanding the perception of human talent about the administrative, logistical and technological processes that have been implemented. The results showed that, although the warehouse maintains established and ambiguous procedures, these have structural flaws that affected operational efficiency. Likewise, a level of dissatisfaction on the part of employees was detected, derived from the absence of training on issues of the use and management of digital tools, as well as problems based on inventory management, product distribution and assignment of functions. In conclusion, the continuous improvement of strategies focused on the optimization of administrative processes, the implementation of new technologies and the appropriate assignment of functions to human talent is recommended, which will allow optimization of productivity and competitiveness by the warehouse within the commercial center of Babahoyo.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente caso tiene como objetivo de estudio el analizar la gestión administrativa del Almacén Jarrín Herrera en Babahoyo durante el año 2024, cuya finalidad se enfoca en identificar deficiencias en los procedimientos administrativos implementados y en proponer estrategias de mejora. Para lograr esta objetividad investigativa, se empleó un enfoque cuali-cuantitativo basado en un método analítico, lo que logro una valoración de manera integral sobre cada uno de los factores que influyen en la eficiencia operativa del negocio. Cabe destacar que se llevaron a cabo encuestas dirigidas al personal de la empresa y una entrevista con el gerente, con el propósito de comprender la percepción del talento humano acerca de los procesos administrativos, logísticos y tecnológicos que se han implementado. Los resultados pusieron de manifiesto que, aunque el almacén mantiene procedimientos establecidos y ambiguos, estos presentan fallas estructurales que provoco una afectación sobre la eficiencia operativa. Asimismo, se detectó un nivel de insatisfacción por parte de los empleados, derivado de la ausencia de capacitación sobre temáticas del uso y manejo de herramientas digitales, como también en problemas basada en la gestión de inventarios, distribución de productos y asignación de funciones. En conclusión, se recomienda la mejora continua de estrategias enfocadas en la optimización de los procesos administrativos, la implementación de nuevas tecnologías y la asignación adecuada de funciones al talento humano, lo que permitirá que se dé una optimización en la productividad y competitividad por parte del almacén dentro del casco comercial de Babahoyo.es_ES
