dc.descriptionThis research work tries to provide guidelines for startups in Ecuador to address key success factors for digital innovation and details how to apply them in the local context. The pandemic was the setting for many startups to test their ability to adapt to this environment, with social networks becoming the main means of advertising for entrepreneurs. During confinement, the closure of companies and distributors was devastating, bringing with it new strategies for entrepreneurs who were mainly dedicated to the distribution of groceries and prepared foods, strengthening the use of digital media as communication channels with their customers. Analyzing the impact of social networks on entrepreneurship in the city of Babahoyo has the objective of providing a deep understanding of how these platforms offer new opportunities for the growth and economic development of the city. Through a literature review, interviews, surveys and data analysis, we will seek to identify effective strategies in the use of social networks and provide recommendations to ventures seeking to make the most of the potential of these tools.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación trata de dar pautas para que los emprendimientos en el Ecuador abordan factores claves de éxito para la innovación tecnológica y se detalla cómo aplicarlas en el contexto local. La pandemia fue el escenario para que muchos establecimientos pusieran a prueba su capacidad de adaptación en este entorno digital, convirtiéndose las redes sociales en el principal medio de publicidad para los emprendedores. Durante el confinamiento, el cierre de empresas fue arrasador trayendo consigo nuevas estrategias para los emprendedores que se dedicaban principalmente a la venta de comidas, fortalecieron el uso de los medios digitales como canales de comunicación con sus clientes. Analizar el impacto de las redes sociales en los emprendimientos de la ciudad de Babahoyo, tiene como objetivo proporcionar una comprensión profunda de cómo estas plataformas ofrecen nuevas oportunidades para el crecimiento y el desarrollo económico de la ciudad. A través de la revisión de literatura, entrevistas, encuestas y análisis de datos, se buscará identificar estrategias efectivas en el uso de redes sociales y proporcionar recomendaciones a los emprendimientos que buscan aprovechar al máximo el potencial de estas herramientas.es_ES
