The research justifies the need to understand and address the causes of these variations to ensure the sustainability of the gas station, providing valuable information for improving commercial practices. The general objective of the study was to diagnose current issues in sales performance using descriptive research techniques. The methodology included surveys of 218 customers and the semi-annual sales comparison, identifying factors influencing fuel consumption. The results showed a positive customer perception of service and quality, although areas for improvement in advertising and promotion were highlighted. The conclusions emphasized the importance of more effective marketing strategies and adapting to market demands to maintain and increase sales levels, ensuring the long-term stability and growth of the gas station. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El presente caso de estudio analiza los niveles de venta de la gasolinera Clyan en la parroquia Isla de Bejucal del cantón Baba durante el periodo 2023, centrándose en las fluctuaciones significativas identificadas a través de una matriz de comparación, la cual reveló un crecimiento del 6.97% en ventas totales entre el primer y segundo semestre. La investigación justifica la necesidad de entender y abordar las causas de estas variaciones para asegurar la sostenibilidad de la gasolinera, proporcionando información valiosa para la mejora de las prácticas comerciales. El objetivo general del estudio fue diagnosticar los problemas actuales en el rendimiento de ventas mediante técnicas de investigación descriptiva. La metodología incluyó encuestas a 218 clientes y la comparación semestral de ventas, identificando factores que influyen en el consumo de combustible. Los resultados mostraron una percepción positiva de los clientes sobre el servicio y la calidad, aunque destacaron áreas de mejora en la publicidad y promoción.
