dc.descriptionInformation and communication technologies are a topic that has reached its peak due to the impact they have on all didactic, educational and institutional processes. Currently, ICTs fulfill a strategic aspiration that allows us to overcome social stagnation and in which technological literacy plays an important role in all those industrialized countries that conceive it as a strategic means of improvement. In Ecuador, corrective actions have been taken over the years regarding the quality of education, and today there are new policies and laws that promote education as a true right of every human being, we also talk about a comprehensive education in which the curricula have been reformed in each and every one of the subjects and the use of ICTs has been implemented in them. And we cannot blind ourselves and think that ICTs can only be used as tools. ICTs used in the correct way can be conceived as a means of enhancing students' learning processes (Reinoso, 2009). The purpose of this study is to encourage the use of ICTs in learning processes and evaluate their impact on the students of the Manuela Cañizares Basic Education school. This thesis is proposed as a means to verify the high impact and revolution that the use of ICTs in teaching-learning processes has caused today.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLas tecnologías de la información y comunicación son un tema que ha entrado en apogeo debido al impacto que tienen en todos los procesos didácticos, educativos e institucionales. En los actuales momentos las TIC´s cumplen una aspiración estratégica que permite superar el estancamiento social y en la que la alfabetización tecnológica juega un papel importante en todos aquellos países industrializados que la conciben como medio estratégico de superación. En el Ecuador se ha venido tomando acciones correctivas a lo largo de los años en cuanto a la calidad de educación, y hoy en día existen políticas nuevas y leyes que promueven a la educación como un verdadero derecho de todo ser humano, se habla además de una educación integral en la cual se han reformado los currículos en todas y cada una de las asignaturas y se ha implementado el uso de las TIC´s en los mismos. Y es que, no podemos cegarnos y pensar que las TIC´s se las puede utilizar sólo como herramientas. Las TIC´s usadas de la manera correcta pueden concebirse como un medio potencializador de los procesos de aprendizajes de los estudiantes (Reinoso, 2009). El fin de este estudio es incentivar el uso de las tics en los procesos de aprendizaje y evaluar su incidencia en los estudiantes de la escuela de Educación Básica Manuela Cañizares. Se propone esta tesis como un medio para verificar el alto impacto y la revolución que han causado hoy en día el uso de las tics en los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje.es_ES
