The present research work was carried out in the Babahoyo Municipal Camal, province of Los Ríos, with the objective of macroscopic identification of the pathologies or lesions caused by gastrointestinal parasites of pigs slaughtered in the municipal slaughterhouse. Furthermore, the variables we study are; sex, race, age and % of organs affected with lesions. The sample size was 300 pigs, the statistical methodology used was the Chi Square design. To determine the changes that occur in each inspected organ, race, sex, age must be taken into account and the various changes found in the liver, heart and lung must be identified, in order to evaluate the loss due to confiscation. During postmortem analysis, a very dark coloration of the skin surface is achieved where the tissue becomes soft and friable, and indicates that the walls of the organs. It is worth mentioning that of the total samples collected there were 300 pigs, it was concluded with the presence of 10 positive cases giving 3% of lesions caused by organs of gastrointestinal parasites, where the liver presented a higher percentage of lesions caused by these parasites in different organs as well. such as heart and lung and according to their race, mestizo with 5 positive cases, followed by barking with 3 positive cases and Duroc with 2 positive cases, which therefore after the mathematical calculation a value of X²c (calculated) was obtained: 0.44 in relation to sex which is less thanes_ES
