dc.descriptionThis research project focuses on analyzing the influence of the reading corner on the literacy skills of children at Sublevel 2 of the "Emigdio Esparza Moreno" Educational Unit. The research addresses challenges in implementing reading and writing strategies in the Ecuadorian educational context, as well as the importance of enhancing these skills from an early age. The methodology is based on a mixed-design research with a sequential approach. It includes techniques such as observation, surveys, and participatory activities to collect quantitative and qualitative data. Questionnaires are administered to teachers and parents, and activities involve students to observe their participation and behavior in the reading corner. The study population encompasses students, parents, and teachers of Sublevel 2. A representative sample is used for surveys and observation. The results are carefully processed and analyzed, with emphasis on ethical aspects such as informed consent and participant privacy. It is anticipated that the effective implementation of the reading corner will enhance children's literacy skills, and the hypothesis posits that those who actively participate in the reading corner will show significant improvement in these skills. The research aims to contribute to the academic and personal development of children, as well as provide recommendations for strengthening pedagogical strategies and fostering a love for reading from early ages.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEste proyecto de investigación se centra en analizar la influencia del rincón de lectura en las habilidades de lectoescritura de los niños en el subnivel 2 de la Unidad Educativa "Emigdio Esparza Moreno". La investigación aborda desafíos en la implementación de estrategias de lectura y escritura en el contexto educativo ecuatoriano y la importancia de mejorar estas habilidades desde temprana edad. La metodología se basa en un diseño de investigación mixto con enfoque secuencial. Incluye técnicas de observación, encuestas y actividades participativas para recopilar datos cuantitativos y cualitativos. Los cuestionarios se aplican a docentes y padres, y las actividades involucran a los estudiantes para observar su participación y comportamiento en el rincón de lectura. La población de estudio abarca estudiantes, padres y docentes del subnivel 2. Se utiliza una muestra representativa para las encuestas y la observación. Los resultados se procesan y analizan cuidadosamente, con énfasis en aspectos éticos como el consentimiento informado y la privacidad de los participantes. Se espera que la implementación efectiva del rincón de lectura mejore las habilidades de lectoescritura de los niños, y se plantea la hipótesis de que aquellos que participen activamente en el rincón de lectura mostrarán una mejora significativa en estas habilidades.
