dc.description | The research presented is a study on "the use of mobile devices and their relationship with academic performance in technical high school students from the Rafael Vásconez Gómez educational unit. of the canton La Maná province of Cotopaxi, year 2022-2023.; which has the purpose of including modern and innovative technological resources within the educational process and thus improve the quality of learning. The research has its theoretical support through the literature that allowed to expand knowledge and determine the benefits of including these technological means in the learning process. The types of research used are: exploratory, descriptive, bibliographic, field and causal, under a non-experimental design. The data collection instruments used are a survey applied to first-year high school teachers; obtaining clear and precise results from it; determining that they do not actually use mobile devices as didactic means, for this purpose and given the importance and benefits that this provides, the design of a mobile application didactic guide to improve the academic performance of first-year students is proposed as an alternative solution. baccalaureate and in turn a pedagogical tool for the teacher. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | La investigación que se presenta hace un estudio sobre “El uso de los dispositivos móviles y su relación con el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de bachillerato técnico de la Unidad Educativa Rafael Vásconez Gómez del cantón La Maná provincia de Cotopaxi, año 2022-2023; la cual, tiene el propósito de analizar los beneficios de incluir recursos tecnológicos modernos e innovadores dentro del proceso educativo y con ello mejorar la calidad de aprendizaje. La investigación tiene su soporte teórico a través de la literatura que permitió ampliar conocimientos y determinar los beneficios de incluir estos medios tecnológicos en el proceso de aprendizaje. Los tipos de investigación usados son: exploratoria, descriptiva, bibliográfica, de campo y causal, bajo un diseño no experimental. Los instrumentos de recolección de datos usados son una encuesta aplicada a los docentes de primero de bachillerato; obteniendo de ella resultados claros y precisos; determinándose que efectivamente no usan los dispositivo móviles como medios didácticos, para el efecto y dada la importancia y beneficios que esto proporciona se plantea como alternativa de solución el diseño de una “Guía didáctica de aplicaciones móviles” para mejorar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de primero de bachillerato y a su vez una herramienta pedagógica para el docente. | es_ES |
