dc.description | The purpose of this case study is to answer the question: What is the use of ICTs in catering establishments in Milagro canton? Whose main objective is to analyses the use of ICTs in catering establishments in Milagro canton, in order to find out whether the establishments use new information and communication technologies?
The methodology used in this case study was a mixed research approach because qualitative and quantitative research techniques were used, because the survey technique was applied to part of the population of Milagro canton and an interview was conducted with the owners of the food and beverage establishments.
Once the information was collected, as part of the results of the survey obtained in this study, it is shown that of the 100 people surveyed, the majority of the population made us aware of the ICTs importance uses in establishments in order to promote them and increase the frequency of visitors, through the interview conducted with different food and beverage establishments’ owners, it was shown that they use more facebook and instagram than other social media, in order to promote the service or producer of their business, in order to reach new users and be recognized locally or nationally. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El estudio de caso presentado tiene como finalidad dar respuesta a la pregunta. ¿Cuál es el uso de las TIC’s en los establecimientos de restauración en el Cantón Milagro?, cuyo objetivo principal es analizar el uso de las Tic en los establecimientos de restauración en el Cantón Milagro, por el cual conoceremos si los establecimientos usan las nuevas tecnologías de la información y comunicación.
La metodología utilizada en el presente estudio de caso, se estableció el enfoque de investigación mixta porque se usó técnicas de investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa dado que se utilizó la técnica de encuesta el cual fue aplicado a una parte de la población del Cantón Milagro y una entrevista a los propietarios de los establecimientos de alimentos y bebidas.
Una vez recabada la información, como parte de los resultados de la encuesta obtenida en el presente estudio, se muestra que de las 100 personas encuestadas, la mayor parte de la población nos dio a conocer sobre la importancia de los usos de las TIC’s en los establecimientos con el fin de promocionarlos y aumentar la frecuencia de visitas, a través de la entrevista realizada a los propietarios de diferentes establecimientos de alimentos y bebidas, se demostró que utilizan más facebook e instagram que otras redes sociales, para de esta manera, promocionar el servicio o productor de su negocio, con la finalidad de llegar a nuevos usuarios y ser reconocido local o nacionalmente. | es_ES |
