dc.description | The present experimental titration work is based on the effect of the immersion time in gibberellic acid on the germination and development of papaya seedlings (Carica papaya), the red Maradol variety in a nursery at the Pueblo Nuevo facility, with the objective of determining the dose of gibberellin with a higher percentage of germination; establish the adequate time of immersion of the papaya seed to increase its germination and analyze the costs of the seedlings in each of the treatments under study. The methodology used is a completely randomized design with nine treatments and three repetitions. The variables studied were: percentage of germinated and non-germinated seeds (%); days to germination; root depth (cm); foliar emission (No.); stem thickness (mm); plant height (cm); dry weight of roots (g); dry weight of the aerial part of the plant (g); dry weight of the plant (g). The results obtained showed that the highest percentage (83 and 92%) of germination was obtained in treatment 7. It was also determined that the adequate immersion time of the papaya seed was 12h+0.5g (GA3) to increase its germination causing a higher yield both in height of the plant and in depth of roots and thickness of the stem. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de integración curricular se basa en el efecto del tiempo de inmersión en ácido giberélico sobre la germinación y desarrollo de plántulas de papaya (Carica papaya), variedad Maradol roja en vivero en el recinto Pueblo Nuevo, tiene como objetivos determinar la dosis de giberelina con mayor porcentaje de germinación; establecer el tiempo adecuado de sumersión de la semilla de papaya para incrementar su germinación y analizar los costos de las plántulas en cada uno de los tratamientos en estudio. La metodología utilizada es un diseño completamente al azar con nueve tratamientos y tres repeticiones. Las variables estudiadas fueron: porcentaje (%) de semillas germinadas y no germinadas; días a la germinación; profundidad de la raíz (cm); emisión foliar (N°); grosor del tallo (mm); altura de la planta (cm); peso seco de raíces (g); peso seco de la parte aérea de la planta (g); peso seco de la planta (g). Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que el mayor porcentaje (83 y 92%) de germinación se lo obtuvo en tratamiento 7. También se determinó que el tiempo adecuado de sumersión de la semilla de papaya fue de 12h+0,5g (GA3) para incrementar su germinación provocando un mayor rendimiento tanto en altura de la planta como en profundidad de raíces y grosor del tallo. | es_ES |
