The banana occupies the fourth place of the food with the highest export worldwide, after rice, corn and wheat, being rich in nutrients that can be consumed both dehydrated and strained, the weeds present in the crops are one of the factors that reduces production, that is, it makes it difficult to carry out cultural tasks, in addition to competing for nutrients, light and space, currently farmers rely on their empirical knowledge which today have lost their degree of effectiveness, since the misuse of these has generated that the weeds obtain a resistance, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the products it is recommended to apply adjuvants that help to improve the effectiveness and increase the adherence and increase the viscosity of the product. The present experimental work was carried out in the banana plantation that is located on the grounds of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo, located at Km 7 ½ of the Babahoyo - Montalvo road. The planting material that was obtained was the Cavendish variety with 4 years already established, where a total of 6 treatments and a control were applied, the first three treatments were applied with the CONFORT adjuvant: CONFORT + PARAQUAT, CONFORT+GLIFOSATO, CONFORT+GLUFOSINATO DE AMONIO , and the other three were the PARAQUAT, GLIFOSATO, GLUFOSINATO DE AMONIO herbicides individually, the design used was Completely Random Blocks (DBCA), with seven treatments and four repetitions, the comparison of the treatment measurements was made using the Tukey test. At 5 % statistical significance, the data to be evaluated were: percentage of weed control at 7 and 14 days after the application; Weed genera present in the treatments were evaluated before the application of the treatments and economic analysis.es_ES
